I was enormously privileged to photograph a group of mountain gorillas in Bwindi…two adult females, a blackback male, two babies, and three juveniles. The one member of the family I didn’t think I would be able to get was the big (stinky!) silverback. He was the deepest in the forest and too shrouded in shadows for me to create an image.
